Terms of use

These terms govern the use of CreaTribu (creatribu.es), provided by [full name or company name],[tax ID], [postal address]. By creating or joining a family, you accept them.

1. What CreaTribu is

An educational tool for families: adults create chores and rewards, kids earn points and can spend them on family rewards or invest them in practice funds to learn how saving and investing work.

2. Points are not money

  • Points have no monetary value: they cannot be bought, sold or exchanged for money in CreaTribu. If a family decides to give them a value, that is a private agreement between its members.
  • Bond funds replay the real historical returns calculated from the rates published by the ECB ("Source: ECB statistics (ECB Data Portal); returns calculated by CreaTribu from the published rates"). Stock funds use simulated data, and the app says so.
  • Nothing in CreaTribu is financial advice or an investment recommendation. What happened in the market doesn't tell you what will happen.

3. Who can use it

  • Accounts are for adults. Whoever creates a family is responsible for it: they can invite other adults and delete it.
  • You may only add kids you are the parent or legal guardian of, or with that person's permission. Kids use the app with their profile and PIN, inside the family and supervised by the adults.
  • Look after your email, your PIN and the devices linked to the family; you can unpair a device in "Invite and pair".

4. Fair use

You may not use CreaTribu for illegal purposes, to harass people, to try to get into other families or to overload or attack the service. We may disable a family or account that does; where possible we will warn first and explain why.

5. Price

CreaTribu is free during the beta, with no ads. If anything becomes paid in the future, we will tell you in advance, and nothing will be charged without your explicit agreement.

6. Beta and availability

CreaTribu is in beta: it may have bugs or change. We do our best to keep it working and not to lose data, but we cannot guarantee it is always available. [liability limits, to be written by the lawyer]

7. Leaving

Whoever created the family can delete it at any time in Settings. Any other adult can ask us to delete their account. Data is handled as the privacy policy explains.

8. Changes to these terms

If they change in an important way, we will tell you in the app and by email before they apply.
